I'm aware that some readers wonder why Roll was given some role (sorry) that involves fighting, despite never actively fighting on foot at any point in the games. At this point in writing, some people like the idea while others didn't like the idea of it, so I thought I'd put in my two cents here though the reason for the change is just a simple one.

Roll's parents are both badass. Roll's grandfather is a badass. And I like to think those are traits that run in her family, so by extension she can be badass too.

And besides, if Roll Classic and Roll EXE can fight depending on adaptation, I don't see why this Roll should be exempt.
