Draft-wise, this page of RMDL was intended to be the very first page to kickstart the comic. However having gone through the original game and storytelling references I decided to do a prologue describing the world before diving in with the main characters.

This page is pretty much exactly where the game begins retold in comic form. The majority of the dialogue is based on the Japanese version with some elements of the English version fitted in when it felt right.

Looking back, I have added a lot of excessive panel detailing to Rock's Digouter armor. I guess I was still in a bit of a "panel details = quality" phase at the time.
